As a member of an international team, you test products in the area of traffic management systems for different European railway operators. You will be getting familiar with your tasks by integrating in the existing ARAMIS Teams in Stuttgart and Bucharest and you will be among the first specialists responsible for testing ARAMIS product for the first time in Romania. Your main focus will be on GUI testing automation.
Job summary
Plan, design and create automated GUI test suites for C++/Qt based products running on Windows/Linux
Further extend current automation framework and ensure reusability, maintainability, flexibility of it
Closely work with development to solve the findings from test
Seek out and identify opportunities for further test automation extensions
Manage the automated testing of each release to ensure the quality targets
Encourage the use of appropriate industry standard best practices and processes
Education
Technical degree in Automatics, Transportation, Electronics, Cybernetics or other degree related to computer science.
Requested technical competences:
Scripting or programming experience
Experience in manual/automated testing
Experience in designing/writing automated tests and a passion for GUI testing
Are considered a plus:
GUI test automation experience (i.e. Squish or similar)
Programming: OOP knowledge (i.e. Python/PyQt or similar)
Experience of source control systems and configuration management (i.e. SVN, ClearQuest)
Experience in Agile development methodologies preferable (i.e. SCRUM)
Languages:
Fluency in English
