For one of our clients, a multinational company, global leader in technology and services, one of the world's leading technology companies with 140.000 employees serving more than one billion customers in more than 178 countries on six continents, we are looking for a System Engineer.
Maintaining a mini data-center for external usage ¿ several EMEA partners;
Performing remote technical activities including the field technical readiness;
Delivering hands-on training;
Maintaining and administrating the system based in Germany.
General:
- Computing or similar subject related degree;
Manageability, installation and security IT skills;
- Network and security including firewall technologies;
- Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply;
- Interpersonal sensitivity and costumer responsiveness.
Technical:
- Enterprise operating system level administration Knowledge ¿ UNIX, VMS, MVS;
- Knowledge of network technique including VPN access;
- Windows 2003 server;
- Tandem knowledge would be an asset.
- Delivered
NS16000, NS14000, NS10000 software maintenance;
- Local LAN management ¿ VPN access on two PPTP servers plus IPSec server on Windows.
