Responsibilities will include primary tasks to apply Globus/Jbase specialist knowledge into the regular integration and development cycle.
The task will be focused on supporting the Application Development Team with this specialist knowledge in the areas of Globus application analyses, development, debugging, implementation, maintenance, integration testing, change request development and defect resolution.
Release management, deployment of code and defect fixes to maintain consistence of the Globus product is also necessary task.
The key task is to adhere to central principles to address and resolve change requests from Project and Production streams.
Also, provides functional application and banking expertise, specifically in any of the following: Treasury, Securities, Accounting, Retail, Trade Finance, General Banking, Banking process workflow and Credit.
Analyze client business/functional requirements and provide support on implementation projects related to generic business processes, depending on the consultant's knowledge and the specific business procedures of the client.
Prepares business specifications, if and when needed, for local development and work with Technical Consultants to ensure they have a clear understanding of the specifications.
Participates in functional User Application Testing, and support go live operation.
Experience
University degree in Mathematics, Programming or Engineering – IT – Computer Science
Minimum 5 years IT experience.
At least 2 years experience in Globus T24 and jBASE 4.0/4.1 including administration
Experience in Globus implementation / Upgrade
Experience in MIS Reporting / Data Warehousing
