We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
Front-end Software Architect for RAIN Development Romania
in our Bucharest based team.
What would you do?
You will. . . .
. . . design build the next generation of front-end architecture for 1&1 applications, based on HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript;
. . . design & develop a variety of new applications, on top of this architecture – from traditional websites to native-like apps and for mobile devices and tablets;
. . . work with cutting edge technologies like server-side JavaScript with NodeJS and like WebSockets;
. . . work in an Agile environment organized according to the Scrum process;
. . . collaborate with an international team of software developers;
. . . Act as the technical lead for the team of top-class front-end developers;
. . . Analyze & document the customer's business processes and requirements;
. . . Propose & document solution scenarios with identified components;
. . . Perform dimensioning analysis based on customer requirements;
If you have the following knowledge & skills . . .
. . . 3+ years of experience architecting web front-end solutions
. . . Excellent knowledge of JavaScript including state of the art implementation paradigms (Progressive Enhancement, Unobtrusive JavaScript, Graceful Degradation)
. . . Excellent knowledge of JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Dojo, ExtJS and standards like commonJS, nodeJS
. . . Very good knowledge of Internet technologies, browser runtime environments& modern web application development
. . . Experience with web technologies like CSS, HTML5, XHTML, XML
. . . Solid experience with multilevel SW-Architecture
. . . A good knowledge of the DOM and know how to handle it
. . . Web Development: JSP, Servlets, Spring, Seams, Struts 2, Rich Faces / JSF
. . . Communication Frameworks/Technologies: XML-RPC, SOAP, JSON, REST, XHR
. . . Hands on experience in Source Control and related tools: SVN, git
. . . Experience with automated build and deploy: Maven, ANT
. . . SOA & Middleware Technologies
. . . Performance Tuning & Optimization
. . . JBoss, Tomcat
. . . MySQL, Oracle, Hibernate / JPA
. . . Very Good English speaking and writing skills
. . . Effective presentation skills, strong problem solving skills and analytical ability, proactive
. . . Must be a very effective team player, constantly meet deadlines, and deliver with high quality
. . . The ability to understand other cultures and the ability to adapt to, benefit from and respect cultural differences
Would be a plus . . .
. . . Knowledge of German language
. . . Experience in mentoring software engineers
. . . Able to write user concepts
