FO VAS TECHNICIAN
Candidates should be based in, or having the intention to relocate to Bucharest
JOB DESCRIPTION(Assurance):
- installs standard hardware/software/products, upgrades customer networks/products, produces documentation and solves defined problems, log and solve standard problems at a control center, interacts with other Tecnicians, customer technical staff and other groups within Service Delivery organization
- broad knowledge within telecom and data com
- work independently, keep own competence and skills up to date
- work on shift 24x7
- work in an international environment, with customers and suppliers, fluent English and communication skills
- education: upper secondary school within relevant area and 1 year experience from Techincal Support area within the Telecom or similar industry.
Assessed:
- understanding of 2G-3G telecom networks&network elements
Experienced:
Understanding of 2G-3G telecom networks&network elements
Two years of experience
Functional roles
Ms techincian
Network surveillance, 1st level restoration and preventive maintenance
- work utilizing pre-prepared Instruction, Script commands, etc and handle 80% of upcoming issues, 20% to be escalated to Back Office
- have the authority to issues Trouble Tickets(TT) and work orders(WO) for netwrok and service functionality and to escalate within the department/group as well as to the Back Office units/3:e Party/supplier partner functions so that service layer may be mainteined at specified level.
Competence:
- IP:CCNA certified plus at least one year's hands-on experience using Cisco Works, Juniper IP administration.
- VAS:At least one year's hands-on experience in J2EE technology, HTTP technology, BEA WebLogic Server administration(v8/9/10), Apache web server administration, Tibco administration(RV/IM/BusinessWorks),Unix administration, TCP/IP networking, UNIX SHELL scripting, Perl shell scripting
