General:
- The FO Core Network Engineer, being in 1st line support is in direct contact with customers representatives, assuring the correction of eventual network faults and prevention monitoring within Packet Switched and Circuit Switched areas.
- Depending on the fault importance it can be escalated to 2nd line support (BO Core Network).
Responsabilities:
- supervision/network monitoring/telecom services for a mobile operator (both Packet Switching/IP and Circuit Switching/SS7);
- issuing and solving Trouble Tickets and 1st line support for the client (mobile operator);
- work in an international environment, with customers and suppliers.
Technical
- IP/Data networks knowledge
- basic Unix shell scripting
Education
- Students or University graduates
- CCNA certifications
Others
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Working in shifts of 8 or 12 hours
- If needed, prepared for working abroad (mainly European countries) up to 6 - 9 months per year
- Strong desire to start a career in the core part of a mobile telecom operator and learn new technologies.
Nice to have requirements
- 1 year experience in NOC 1st line support for a telecom operator.
- Student at Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications or recently graduated
