Semiconductor manufacturers need efficient design flows that can deliver accurate results in less time for larger designs. Traditionally, a diverse mix of tools, proprietary database and file formats are integrated to form a Design Automation Flow.
The Flow Support Engineer is responsible to find solutions for issues related to the Infineon s Inway Design Flow
Responsibilities:
-Find solutions for issues within the Design Flow
- Provide 1st level support, involve 2nd level support where needed
- Keep tracking of the changes in design flow environment and design package. Align it with project team members.
- Identify software license needs, optimize licenses usage.
- Knowledge transfer with team members
-Improve overall Mixed Signal Flow environment by:
-Collecting requests from team members
-Running projects within new/testing flow versions
-Providing feedback to flow/library/methodology central group.
-Fundamental knowledge in integrated circuit design and passion for programming/scripting
-Education:
Automatic/Computers/Electronics/Telecommunication degree, or relevant experience in integrated circuits design.
-Skills:
-Experience in Linux/Unix environment (command line)
-Experience in scripting languages: Perl, csh shell.
-Experience with simulation tools from: Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics.
-Experience in SKILL/LISP language is an advantage.
-English write/speak is a must.
-Open to help the others (everyone will turn to you for help)
