Applicant must have 1+ years experience in developing games in Macromedia Flash (MX or MX 2004). Thorough knowledge of animation scripting languages and principles is required. Working knowledge of other graphic or animation applications, especially those from the Macromedia Studio MX suite, is preferred.
Applicant should be able to create animated games suitable for children, and develop them from conceptual design to implementation. Should be able to build these games around certain characters (humans, aliens, imaginary creatures or animals), work in a team for creating the artistic content and integrate them in different multimedia products. Should be able to understand cultural issues and adapt his/her animation or design style to match the specific style of these products.
Experience in animated cartoons development, web design or creation of multimedia applications is preferred. General computer programming knowledge is also preferred. Drawing ability and good artistic skills are making a big plus.
Applicant should have good communication skills. Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment. Ability to understand functional and usability issues from the clients perspective. Must be able to work independently with limited amount of supervision. Must be able to adapt to changing priorities.
English language skills are making a significant advantage.
