-Preparation of monthly financial statements in compliance with IFRS;
- Preparation of specific financial reports such as liquidity, foreign currency of country risk
reports, performance analysis and other prospective ratios;
- Interpretation and analysis in evolution of the financial statements, gathering information from
multiple sources and applying own judgment;
- Computing & booking accruals and follow them up for release or reversal;
- Performing reconciliations and investigations in case of failed reconciliations;
- Occasionally keeping in contact with both internal & external audit;
- Involved in Finance projects implementation (Managing for Value, Profitability, Monitor and investigate variations to budget), coming up with new ideas and methods to improve and speed up tasks.
University degree in Economics - ACCA in progress is a must;
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing;
- 2 years of experience in banking/ financial services/auditing;
- Good knowledge of financial accounting & IFRS or other recognised, generally accepted auditing standards (US or UK GAAP);
- Perform evaluation of operational effectiveness of controls and design/implement procedures of control appropriate to business risk segment or development stage;
- General knowledge of finance and management accounting;
- Computer literate, good command of spreadsheet and/or database software;
- Any other practical IT skills would be highly appreciated;
- Proactive attitude, analytical mind, top-down approach with focus to detail;
- Initiative & ability to deal with deadlines;
- Team spirit, integrity and good interpersonal skills.
