RESPONSABILITATI

•Ensures fully compliance of accounting records (timely, accurate, documented) with the Romanian Accounting and Tax Laws;
•Responsible for a proper day-to-day bookkeeping: working in GL, accounting in the proper period, fully based on valid documentation;
•Responsible for the preparation of monthly trial balances for reporting to CNVM / Bancpost (the custodian bank), under tight deadlines;
•Proper archiving of the documents to ensure efficient reach and full safeguards around company records;
•Periodic filing of tax and related returns, proper and timely calculation, submission and settlement of liabilities to the state budget according to tax regulations (Profit Tax, WHT, VAT (if applicable);
•Prepare and maintain fund payroll records;
•Proper and timely set up and maintenance of all the registries and tax fillings required by the Romanian Fiscal Laws;
•Involvement in preparation of annual / semi-annually / quarterly financial statements in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards and submission of these financial statements to the local authorities (Fiscal Authorities, Trade Register Office, CNVM, BVB, etc. (where applicable))
•Involvement in additional local regulatory reporting
•Involvement in preparation of IFRS financial statements and additional related reports
•Involvement in preparation board reports, client reports, and various ad hoc internal documents
•Building strong relationships, proactively servicing their needs, and managing ad hoc requests
•Maintaining, overseeing and building external partnerships e.g. working with auditors, custodians, regulator, advisors etc.

CERINTE

•Degree in accounting, finance or business.
•3 years of experience in book keeping (general accounting), preparation of tax returns, payroll records maintenance are required
•Experience with automated financial systems (preferably Ciel or similar), including a general ledger and financial reporting software, is required
•Basic knowledge of IFRS is required
•Experience in mutual fund accounting or financial administration and reporting is an advantage
•Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications are required
•Fluent in Romanian and English to a business level
