Within SAP Consulting, the Global Delivery Center is a group that provides remote SAP consulting service to SAP customers.
This group serves customers worldwide via tight cooperation with other local SAP consulting teams. This means worldwide delivery commitment in areas including SAP ERP application, SAP Supply Chain Management application, SAP Customer Relation Management application, SAP Strategic Enterprise Management application, SAP Supplier Relationship Management application, and solutions for Retail and Financial Services industries.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
- To address requirements of customers in Public Sector (PS)
- Build competencies at GD to deliver solutions to PS Customers.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects
- Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients
- Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines
- Participating in SOW creation and estimating under guidance from a Bid Manager
- Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address problems
- Delivering billable components that meets a customer's needs
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Degree in Accounting (MBA or Qualified Accountant)
- Good knowledge in SAP Financial and Managerial Accounting solution
- Knowledge of SAP Public sector solution will be added advantage (for e.g. Grant Management, Tax and Revenue Management, Public Sector Accounting, Public Sector
Collections and Disbursals)
- Well developed customer focus
- Good Presentation and communication skills
FOREIGN LANGUAGES
- English at business level is mandatory
- German at least at conversational level is mandatory
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4+ years Public Sector industry experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years of SAP
- FICO and 3+ years prior business application software or implementation experience
TRAVEL
- availability and willingness to travel and be deployed internationally for varying lengths of time.~ 80% of working time
