The Financial Manager will report hierarchically to the local Managing Director and functionally to the Group Financial Director and will be responsible for all the accounting, financial and controlling activities within the company.
His/her main responsibilities will be:
- statutory accounting operations, incl. balance sheet, general ledger and preparation of the financial statements for a timely and accurate monthly closing process;
- annual budget planning and follow-up;
- forecasting, analysis and cash-flow management;
- preparation of the monthly reporting package, for the Group management;
- local and international taxes complience;
- driving the continuous improvement process regarding direct, indirect costs and overheads;
- supervision of the HR issues: labor contracts, workbooks, relationship with the local labor authorities (ITM), compensations&benefits etc.
- University degree in Finance/Accounting;
- Relevant experience in a senior Financial/Accountancy role (experience within a transport/logistics company would be a plus);
- Very good knowledge of Romanian and international financial and tax legislation;
- Good knowledge of budgeting principles and methodology; good understanding of the costs structure;
- High proficiency in using MS Office (esp.Excel) and ERP/accounting software;
- Good command of English or German;
- Excellent communication and analytical skills; positive, pro-active and results-oriented attitude;
- Practical knowledge about HR-related issues.
