Our client is one of the world's largest suppliers of a wide range of commodities and raw materials to industrial consumers. His commercial counterparts are both producers and industrial consumers. Our client role is to be a reliable and competitive partner to businesses in the segments of the market which we serve and to support these businesses as they expand and develop.
RESPOSABILITIES:
The Financial Controller is responsible for the supporting activities finance, risk management, accounting, reporting, tax, compliance, ICT.
The Financial Controller is responsible for all accounting/finance department around the country (Bucharest, Constanta, Braila).
He is the interface between finance/accounting and trade/traffic. He/she will work closely to the business and will pro-actively participate to develop the business.
Liaise with banks and headquarters regarding finance issues
Currency hedging / position reporting
Preparing and analysing balance sheets and profit & loss accounts for IFRS.
Turning this information into reporting packages for management and headquarters.
Overlook the below activities together with the Chief Accountant.
Corporation tax calculations and returns.
VAT matters and VAT returns.
Statutory accounts.
Cost analysis of executed contracts.
Analyses of results of various grain commodities.
COMPETENCE PROFILE:
Minimum 3 - 5 years satisfactory performance as chief accountant/Financial Controller.
IFRS knowledge required
Strong analytical skills
Computer literate (professional business software, Microsoft products)
Fluent knowledge of the English language (reading/writing/speaking)
