- The Financial Controller is responsible for the supporting activities finance, risk management, accounting, reporting, tax, compliance, ICT.
- The Financial Controller is responsible for all accounting/finance department around the country (Bucharest, Constanta, Braila).
- He is the interface between finance/accounting and trade/traffic. He/she will work closely to the business and will pro-actively participate to develop the business.
- Liaise with banks and headquarters regarding finance issues - Currency hedging / position reporting
- Preparing and analysing balance sheets and profit & loss accounts for IFRS. - Turning this information into reporting packages for management and headquarters.
- Overlook the below activities together with the Chief Accountant.
- Corporation tax calculations and returns.
- VAT matters and VAT returns.
- Statutory accounts.
- Cost analysis of executed contracts.
- Analyses of results of various grain commodities.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years satisfactory performance as chief accountant/Financial Controller.
- IFRS knowledge required
- Strong analytical skills
- Computer literate (professional business software, Microsoft products)
- Fluent knowledge of the English language (reading/writing/speaking)
- Knowledge of applicable governments regulations, personnel politics etc.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels and public
- University degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
