RESPONSABILITATI

Job purpose:

As a key member of the management team the Financial Controller has specific responsibility for setting the financial control and accounting policies. The controller participates in setting financial objectives, in performance evaluation, assesses the economic part of major business decisions and supports management with financial analysis and planning.
The Controller ensures that the operations comply with the Company’s Group policies and procedures including local and international arrangements.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensures the business complies with legislative requirement in areas of finance (eg. Statutory, SOX, US GAAP reporting, tax).
• Designs and operates effective internal and external financial reporting on the basis of required systems and internal controls
• Tracking, monitoring and analysis of monthly financial results. Seeks explanation for variances and reports on fluctuations. Implements financial controls and ensures accuracy of financial reporting
• Provides financial input and support to management in achievement of the objectives and strategy.
• Ensures the business has the right tools, information and support to assess and improve financial performance.
• Assists Country Finance Manager in the budgeting process and in designing and operating strategic and operational controlling
• Assists external auditors with the development of the external audit plan and serves as the liaison between management and the external auditors
• Ad-hoc projects/tasks as may be needed


CERINTE

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. ACCA is an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years working experience at increasing levels of responsibility in a multinational corporate environment; mix of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Very good knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP required.
• Advanced Excel knowledge required. Microsoft Access knowledge an advantage.
• Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) knowledge an advantage.
• Very good business English knowledge (written and spoken).
• Proven research, problem solving, analytical and writing skills
• Proven supervisory, communication and teamwork skills
• The energy, enthusiasm and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple priorities under tight deadlines
