Financial Controller

Main activities:
Is responsible for preparation of group financial statements and reports, budgets and forecasts, and management information.
Examines and analyses accounting records to determine financial status of the company.
May prepare financial reports concerning operation procedures.
Inspects items in books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedures were followed.
Prepares reports for management, reporting financial conditions.
Makes recommendations for improving the financial operations and the position of the company.
May supervise and co-ordinate activities of subordinate staff.
Communicates with tax authorities, tax specialists, lawyers, and auditors to ensure legal compliance, at a minimum cost to the company.
Supervises statutory audit and tax return filing.

Extensive financial operations knowledge.
Works independently.
Approximately five years experience in the finance field/ three years in auditing field.
May co-operate on the solution of special financial issues (sometimes with external consultants).
Completes complex and/or particular financial tasks.
Insurance experience is preferred
