Job Purpose:
Is responsible for preparation of group financial statements and reports, budgets and forecasts and management information
Examines and analyses accounting records to determine financial status of the company
Responsible for preparation of detailed reports and of other specific requests for the management and for corporate controlling;
Responsible for preparation of the budget according to the planning schedule (in close cooperation with the business responsible representatives);
May prepare financial reports concerning operation procedures
Inspects items in books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedures were followed
Prepares reports for management, reporting financial conditions
Makes recommendations for improving the financial operations and the position of the company
May supervise and co-ordinate activities of subordinate staff
Communicates with tax authorities, tax specialists, lawyers and auditors to ensure legal compliance at a minimum cost to the company
Supervises statutory audit and tax return filling
Follows developments in the current Romanian accounting standards, in statistics, in business law, in tax regulation, and in issues concerning environmental standards
Performance is measured by quality compliance with applicable regulations
Analysis and interpretation of management relevant information within the business unit and developing corrective measures in the case of negative actual/budget deviations; actual/actual deviations
Extensive financial operations knowledge
Approximately five years experience in the finance filed/ three years in auditing field
Fluency in English;
Analytical, open minded and pro-active attitude
May co-operate on the solution of special financial issues (sometimes with external consultants)
Completes complex and/or particular financial tasks
Ability to work under pressure
