You will start as a Financial Controller, completing with tasks of a Chief Accountant. Your responsibilities will be:
preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports
monitoring financial performance
keeping informed the Management with the legally changes with direct impact on our business
developing and implementing a financial control system
verifying all the accounting registration from the system
follow up that all the cost are confirming to the budget
developing the annual budget of the company and the estimation for different time frames
creating the policies and procedures for the Accounting Department
calculating the specific performance indicators of the company and reporting them to the Management
preparing journal entries
recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
3-4 years experience on a similar position
experience in reporting
accounting University Degree
extensive knowledge of the Romanian and European legislation
knowledge of accounting practices in Romania and extensive knowledge of reporting requirements to authorities
organized, able to prioritize
analytic skills; able to extract the essential out of a context
detail oriented
proactive
able to work well under stress
excellent Microsoft Excel skills
excellent English skills are mandatory
