RESPONSABILITATI

The Financial Analyst will be involved in financial planning, reporting, ad hoc analysis, and measurement for Worldwide Studio QA, a newly centralized shared service function within Centralized Development Services that supports all game development teams worldwide. The organization currently encompasses 7 locations with total staffing of > 1,000 and an annual budget $60 million.
The analyst’s principal responsibility will be to supply accurate, timely, and insightful reporting and analysis.

Management Reporting – Ensure timely and accurate reporting of actual spending and headcount vs. Plan, Prior Year and Prior Estimate. Provide valued added variance analysis to highlight issues or opportunities and promote understanding. Support WWS QA PMO in the production of monthly dashboards and quarterly benchmarking analysis to ensure integrity of all financial data; own all financial metrics.

Forecasting & Planning – Assist in monthly rolling 4 quarter forecasting and annual planning process that reflects the latest SKU Plan and associated resource plan by location. Ensure that each location uses an identical costing model that aligns with the global resource planning model to deliver the highest quality SG&A and headcount forecasts and budget with minimum effort. Identify trend lines and run rates; provide management with compelling data to address issues early. Work directly with global business partners to overcome obstacles and to understand risks and opportunities of the latest forecast.

Metrics – Assist in the development and implementation of standard, global metrics (strategic, operational, and financial) to evaluate business health, performance, and forecast accuracy. Incorporate into planning and reporting (both fiscal year and long range planning) as well as industry/competitor analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute strategic business initiatives, providing analytical insight and performance analysis. This could include ROI analysis, project tracking / assessment, capital budgeting, etc.

Act as a liaison between the Global Finance team and the Business Unit finance teams, assisting with issues related to forecasting, resource prioritization, and business profitability.

Act as contributor on various ad-hoc projects such as industry benchmarking, metrics reporting, and/or acquisitions.


CERINTE

•BS degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics required
•2+ years experience in a divisional or corporate role (internal management reporting, forecasting, planning, analysis)
•Skilled user of financial database software applications
•Demonstrated top quartile performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence
