Job summary: gathering information, assembling spreadsheets, writing reports, and reviewing all non-legal pertinent information about prospective deals. The Financial Analyst examines the feasibility of a transaction and prepares an action plan based on financial analysis.
- Assists in the analysis of financial data, extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
- Assists in preparation of reporting package of the Group.
- Reviews costs and performs cost benefit analysis related to projects.
- Performs statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the financial systems.
- Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
- Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Interprets financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
- Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance.
- Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
- University degree degree in accounting, business, or related field.
- Professional Finance Qualification (CFA/ ACCA).
- 2-3 years related financial experience required.
- Proficiency in the use of software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word processing required.
- Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate requiring good oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills, excellent time management.
