The successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
-Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the plant;
-Be responsible for asset/ resource management including inventory verification and control, making sure all related corporate policies and procedures to safeguard assets are followed; Develop a close working relationship with the Material Control personnel;
-Coordinate monthly, quarterly and yearly closings;
-Be responsible for periodical reporting, rolling forecast, budget, cash etc.;
-Be responsible for compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures, development of an effective system of internal control and oversee compliance with those controls, to include compliance with US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act;
-Develop KPI’s for all critical production activities: costs, pricing etc.
-Provide supervision to plant accounting staff and train them where needed;
-Serve as a contact with outside auditors and collaborate, as required, with outside auditors
-University degree in Finance;
-5 years or more of financial experience in a manufacturing environment;
-Strong background in accounting with experience developing and administering controls and procedures;
-“Big 4” experience preferred;
-Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley procedures is strongly preferred;
-Good understanding of Oracle;
-Proven experience in leading and developing a team;
-Good communication skills;
-Good English language skills;
-A mentality to build and develop the department.
