- Preparation of monthly financial statements in compliance with IFRS;
- Preparation of specific financial reports such as liquidity, foreign currency of country risk reports;
- Analysis and interpretation of the financial statements;
- Computing & booking accruals and follow them up for release or reversal;
- Performing reconciliations and investigations in case of failed reconciliations;
- Involved in Finance projects implementation, coming up with new ideas and methods to improve and speed up tasks;
- Preparation of monthly management accounting reports based on the financial statements (Back-Up);
- Preparation of specific management reports such as standard analysis, ALCO or funding reports (Back-Up);
- Analysis and interpretation of management accounting reports (Back-up);
- Track management accounting data against the budget, monitor and analyze variations (Back-up);
- Involved in the budgeting process for the bank as a whole but also for its individual branches (Back-up);
- Drawing up quarterly forecasts based on front office input, past trends, budget levels and own judgment (Back-up).
- University degree in Economics - ACCA/CFA in progress would be a plus;
- 1-2 years of experience, preferably in financial services/banking/auditing;
- Good knowledge of financial accounting & IFRS;
- Computer literate, good command of spreadsheet and/or database software;
- Ability to combine, verify and reconcile data from multiple sources;
- Teamwork, loyalty, integrity, initiative & ability to deal with deadlines;
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
