Coordinating the financial-accounting department;
Reviewing monthly financial statements, ensuring that the balance sheet accounts are properly analyzed and reviewing the sub-ledger reconciliation;
Reviewing variance analyses and preparing a summary discussion for management;
Reviewing the bank reconciliations and monitoring cash transfer requests and foreign currency exposure;
Ensuring that capital expenditures are properly authorized and coded;
Updating and monitoring monthly cash flow analyses;
Preparing the annual budget and forecast;
Reporting to the HQ according to the Group specifications;
Coordinating the payroll activities;
Verifying the correct application of the local civil law and fiscal regulatory requirements;
Assisting and participating in special projects developed by the company.
For one of our clients, a leading multinational company activating in oil drilling services, a start-up in Romania, we are looking for a Finance and Administration Manager based in Ploiesti.
Requirements:
University graduate (economics);
Relevant experience on a similar position (minimum 5 years of experience in financial-accounting field);
Experience in production or other operationally-driven industry would be a major advantage;
Very good knowledge of accounting closing procedures, local accounting requirements, financial statements;
Experience with budgeting and forecasting, financial analyses and reporting;
Good knowledge of Romanian fiscal legislation;
Computer skills (MS Excel, experience with Oracle would be an advantage);
Fluent in English;
Analytical, organized, interpersonal skills;
Very flexible, proactive and business-oriented.
