The successful candidate will manage accounting and financial responsibilities for Romania and will report to the Finance Entity Analyst. The specific areas of involvement will include:
1) Accounting:
- Provide help to the Finance team worldwide – whenever the case might be
- Internal reporting duties like cash flow (actuals and forecast), account analysis and other reports to be done for Freescale Inc and Freescale UK
- Monthly preparation of the account analysis
- Book accounting entries
- Keep petty cash register and physical monetary and ensure perfect reconciliation between the two
- Maintain the relation with Citibank
- Upload payments into the Citibank electronic payment system
- Ensure reconciliation between payments and bank statements
- Verify expenses/claims of FSL employees
- Reconciliate expenses versus claims and corporate card transactions
- Submit monthly declarations to the Finance Administration
- Provide help to the authorities for the claims FSL might have
2) Operational, legal and administrative:
Ensure support in all other Finance areas on the needs basis.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- Medium US GAAP knowledge
- University graduate in Finance and Accounting areas.
- Financial and accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment; 3+ years
- Good Romanian and English skills; a plus would be French and Italian.
- Knowledge of Romanian business environment (legal, operational, professional organizations)
- Good Excel skills
