- responsible for overseeing the installation activities of RBS (GSM, NMT, DCS, DECT) sites, related microwave hops, and other transmission equipment.
- plans/schedules and coordinates all the activities in conjunction of the installation and ensures that this is done in a cost effective manner which meets quality and time plans.
- Conduct an overall check of all the RBS and transmission installation in order to make sure that it is done according to the conventional standards and in a high quality manner and report respective abnormal installation to the Line Manager.
- Conduct warehouse testing, site integration and acceptance testing of RBS equipment.
- Analyse and solve problems in conjunction with RBS configuration, wiring, testing and integration.
- Co-ordinate with the switch personnel in order ensures smooth and successful integration.
- Respond to customer RBS technical complaints and try to settle them.
- Verify the continuity of the transmission media (e.g. mini-link) pertaining to RBS sites and try to identity and solve encountered problem in this respect.
