Manage and lead a group of 4 field engineers located in Romania (Bucharest), coordinate field activities with customers, report to Alvarion headquarters.
In addition, execute on site support, equipment demos, field trials, equipment installation and commissioning, management application support, operation of Alvarion equipment in conjunction with other networking equipment, as well as post sales, technical training on Alvarion products and related technologies.
This position requires intensive and long trips all over the world.
Education:
Bachelors degree in data communications or electronics.
Required skills:
Managerial skills, deep knowledge in computer communications, LAN, core protocols (TCP/IP, Frame Relay, ATM, ISDN, V.5.2), understanding in radio systems, radio modulations (FM, GFSK, OFDM etc), antennas, measurement equipment for computers and radio systems.
Presentation skills.
Advantage to candidates certified by known communications companies, such as Cisco, Juniper, etc.
Previous work experience:
2 years in an international company specializing in telecommunications or data communications, in service oriented positions, field experience.
2+ years experience on managing technical group.
