• Research and identify trend directions, perform competitive analysis, keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes;
• Review garment magazines and manuals in order to gather information about fashion trends and customer preferences;
• Design and create new products;
• Participate on fitting session;
• Planning and developing the collections;
• Sourcing and selecting fabrics, trims fastenings and embellishments and decide what materials and patterns to use;
• Liaising closely with sales, buying and production teams in order to meet customers’ expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Experienced with Photoshop, familiar with Illustrator;
• Highly organized and detail oriented;
