Core Competencies and Key Responsibilities
1. Be an expert on the F2P market in your territory and bring strong knowledge about:

• Competitive landscape
o Most successful games
o Most successful publishers
o Payment Providers
o Gaming habits
o Distribution channels of online games
• Market potential
o User Base
o Revenue
• Target groups and how to address them

2. Define and lead the online marketing strategy for Blue Byte’s F2P games in your territory
• Identify competition, target groups and market potential in order to create a realistic growth and P&L forecast in cooperation with the Live Game Manager
• Develop and execute successful online campaigns for all channels (search engines, affiliate campaigns, banner advertising, viral campaigns)
• Identify new local marketing opportunities and trends
• Identify possible local cooperation partners and manage the relationship with them (PR agencies, TV stations, …)
• Set up appropriate territorial KPI goals in cooperation with the Live Game Manager
• Optimize campaigns in cooperation with the performance marketing team
• Cooperate with the Studio PR Manager to coordinate & define appropriate local PR actions and campaigns
• Modify messaging and positioning in order to develop the appropriate “local tone of voice”

3. Support the optimization of the game for your territory

• Work closely with the live operations team to ensure products look and feel local (website, localization etc.)
• Propose new features to the production team in order to increase the local performance
• Work with the business development team to identify and implement local opportunities (local payment channels, B2B cooperations etc.)

Mission:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Brand Development, the F2P Manager is responsible to successfully market our F2P games in his dedicated territory.

Qualification:
• At least 5 years job experience in the games industry (e.g. Product Management, Marketing Management)
• Ready to work very autonomous
• Expert on free to play games and/or Social gaming
• Very good communication skills within and across teams
• Excellent self-organization and self-motivation abilities
• High interest in games development and all development processes
