- pre and post settlements on the cash & credit related products, collateral management & Reconciliations
- pre-settlements will include calculating settlements amounts, composing reset / payment advices, confirming cash flows with internal or external clients
- paying or receiving the funds and communicating errors to counter parties
- investigating cash breaks, analyzing their root causes
- resolving breaks with internal or external clients, looking at p/l breaks, posting entries
- eye for detail to be able to reconcile between inter system data & counter parties & resolve breaks within stipulated time for market cut offs
- excellent time management skills required
- must work well under intense time pressure with few errors
- must possess excellent problem solving skills to resolve internal/external issues, including IT related problems
- must have ability to work closely within a small team or independently, assimilate information, make prompt decisions and share results with colleagues
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation are key characteristics
The candidates will work closely with Counter parties, risk analysts, collateral managers, financial controllers, and ensure that the link is made between risk & settlement functions.
