RESPONSABILITATI

Ensuring that the plants and quarries activities in his/her area comply with the permit/legislation (land development, IPPC/BREF, permits, natura 2000, waste and mining waste, CO2);
Tracking changes in environmental legislation and sharing within the organization all changes impacting our business;
Performing inspection and environmental assessment, keeping records and making recommendations to the CCE Permitting/Environment Manager concerning mitigation actions to correct environmental problems; Performing follow-up for the implementation of the agreed mitigation action plan;
Conducting research to find pollutants or hazards (for air, soil, water, noise, vibration, etc.) in the company s environment and then proposing a plan to eliminate them, while maintaining a balance between the needs of the natural environment and the economic needs of the business;
Communicating with employees in order to keep them aware of new environmental regulations, training them on environmental best management practices;
Bringing into force the wastes management policy;
Keeping plant management informed about issues and legislation of importance and gathering their opinion on environmental issues;
Preparing applications for environmental related permits and manage obtaining of the permits in collaboration with the country representative and the CCE Permitting/Environment Manager;
Ensuring quality of environmental work and permitting processes performed by multiple consultants/subcontractors (EIA, etc.);
Coordinating various permit compliance requirements during and after project construction;
Taking part to the documentation, implementation and monitoring of ISO;
Maintaining the ISO files and taking part to the Internal Audit;
Proposing ISO documentation review and/or update;
Participating to external audits and ISO certification;
Being responsible for public relation activities: participate in the various accompanying commissions directly linked to our activities (authorities inspection, etc.), participate in meetings with plaintiff neighbours to examine the issues and propose solutions, participate to the public hearings and consultations on environmental matters, examine the issues and propose solutions;
Notifying the CCE Permitting/Environment Manager of any problem occurred on in environment protection;
Collecting, analyzing and interpreting data from a variety of sources (for: air emissions, water, wastes, fees, etc.) and report them in a timely manner to proper authorities;
Maintaining all environmental related records.


CERINTE

University Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering;
Minimum 3 years experience in an environmental filed;
Ready to travel into country;
Languages: English (written and spoken);
Good understanding of the heavy industry environmental implications;
General knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations;
Global knowledge of the processes and emissions (CO2, hazardous materials regulations, recovery, incineration and disposal, sampling and analysis, statistics, environmental biology and chemistry, elements of atmospheric pollution, environmental resources management, and pollution control design, etc.);
A person that demonstrates initiative and the ability to work in team;
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and to perform well in a deadline-oriented environment;
Ability to complete a project from start to finish;
Displays excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
Good planning and organization skills;
Other desirable skills: analytical skills, patience - diplomacy, assertiveness.
