RESPONSABILITATI

SCOPE:

- Reports to Director, Security Solutions, EMEA Technology Consulting
- No direct reports, but will be required to mentor a virtual team of security domain experts in local countries
- Domain Expertise in at least one part of Oracle¿s Security Offering (see above)
- An understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Security¿s relationship to it
- Solution focused with a depth of knowledge of Oracle¿s Security Stack and some understanding of Oracle¿s broader Fusion Middleware & SOA Strategy.
- A broad knowledge of the rest of Oracle¿s product suite
- An Understanding of the competitive landscape in the area of Security and how to counter it.
- Works in close co-operation with EMEA Security Sales Consulting Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Act as Technical Expert in Licence & Consulting Pre-Sales engagements
- Act as Technical Lead in key delivery projects
- Actively build & maintain a depth of product knowledge across all Oracle¿s Security Products
- Ensure EMEA & Local Technical Consultants are kept up to date with product & solution knowledge
- Maintain a general level of awareness of all relevant competitive products
- Educate Oracle¿s customers and Partners in the relevant Oracle Solutions
- Build and maintain relevant relationships with customers, partners & local sales & solution teams during the bid process
- Coach & guide local Project Teams through the delivery of Security solutions (typically at the early stages of the team)

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Attend customer meetings with Licence & Consulting Sales to qualify product requirements
- Deliver Architecture & Blueprint and Technical workshops for customers in the area of Security
- Define and deliver Proof of Concept studies for Customers alongside local consulting staff
- Contribute technical information in response to Invitations To Tender (ITT), Requests For Information (RFIs) & Requests for Proposal (RFP)
- Engage with Product Development teams to maintain product knowledge across all relevant areas
- Represent Oracle Consulting at marketing and other customer events as required
- Act as a technical contact for key customers in the area of Security Solutions
- Recognise and communicate opportunities to up-sell based on solutions & technical insight
- Update virtual Technical teams with product and solution knowledge
- Act as evangelist and cheerleader for Security Solutions across EMEA
- Research and understand the basic elements of our competitor¿s product offerings
- Actively develop product expertise across Oracle¿s current and future Security & SOA product offering.


CERINTE

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Minimum of 5 years Consulting or similar experience.

-Expected Grade: Senior Consultant Level 1 to Principal (Global Level 5 to 7).

- Deep knowledge of one or more of following: COREid, Oracle Web Services Manager, Xellerate.

- Good presentation and customer facing skills required.

- Evidence of ability to build and maintain relationships across Lines of Business & across Sales & Delivery functions of Consulting

- Appreciation of Service-Oriented Architecture and its relationship with Security ¿ with respect either to Oracle Fusion Middleware or competitor solutions and approaches.

- Enthusiastic self-starter, able to plan and work on own with good decision-making and verbal/written communication skills.
