EMEA Talent Operations Specialist: Candidate background verification

We are looking for a Human Resources graduate to join the EMEA Talent Acquisition Team, located in our Bucharest, Romania office. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, EMEA Talent Acquisition, and will be responsible for owning and administering the background verification process for all hires in Adobe’s EMEA region (c350+ per annum)

Primary activities

Owns the process for Background verification of external hires across the EMEA region: Projection c20-40 background checks will be in progress on a rolling basis covering FT and Temporary hires across the region (400+ Per annum). Ultimately, this person will ensure a high candidate experience during the final stages of the recruiting and pre on-boarding process.

Acts as the owner and first point of contact to the following internal groups: EMEA Talent Acquisition, EMEA Legal, EMEA Human Resources

Owns the process from employment offer stage through to completion:
- Sends background verification documents to each candidate, contacts candidate by phone to ensure receipt and confirms timelines.
- Tracks progress of each background verification application: send weekly updates to recruiting team.
- Acts as the first point of contact to the candidate handling all queries and FAQ’s with regard to local instructions per country on how to fulfill requirements of background check.
- Partners with Adobe’s third party Background Verification provider and cross references all hires in process with candidate.
- Acts as the go between managing logistics and procurement/expenses for each hire where relevant.
- Escalations: Acts as the initiator of escalations to the Recruiting. HR management and legal teams.

We are looking for a candidate who works well in a fast-paced environment and is able to

• University degree (Bachelor’s) a “must”. Ideally in Human resources or related discipline.
• In current or previous role, a successful track record of exceeding expectations with the composition of your day comprised of many time sensitive, critical tasks.
• Must have “A1” ability to prioritise tasks on-the-fly.
• Has demonstrated high levels of commitment and application in previous roles. Understands and balances the impact of leaving critical tasks undone at the end of the day.
• Highly responsive in nature: “customer first”
• A natural self-starter: has strong “inner motor”
• Demonstrates initiative: ….fixes problems vs being aware of problems
• Ability to provide accurate and efficient service in a busy work environment
• A natural ability to deal with confidential matters; conveying trust and partnership at all times.
• Extensive knowledge in using Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Desirable Skills
Experience with applicant tracking systems
Experiencee working for a Human resources or Recruiting team
