RESPONSABILITATI

SCOPE:

This role can be based in any EMEA country.

- Reports to Snr Practice Director ¿ Technology & Architecture Services - EMEA Consulting International projects

- Deep understanding of Oracle application (eBS/E/E1) functionality and industry and/or business processes in one or more broad areas:
- Financials
- Supply Chain (procurement side, production & planning side, revenue side)
- CRM
- HR
- Works as part of a practice team
- Works closely with Consulting Sales Representatives (CSRs), other Practice members, Partners and Presales
- Depending on situation may lead a team either in project bid phase activity or project delivery activity
- Travels extensively in EMEA depending on projects

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designing, developing and documenting solution architecture that meets client needs and ensuring successful implementation

- Balancing meeting the clients demands with protecting Oracle commercial interests

- Presenting solutions and approaches to the relevant clients

- Contributing to project planning and project management as required

- Building and maintaining relationships at all levels within each relevant client

- Escalating client issues to the relevant contact in Oracle

- Working with an account team to discover and exploit opportunities for cross and up selling

- Working alongside Partner and other third party organisations as required

- Sharing knowledge and best practice within the practice and across lines of business via Oracle Professional Communities

- Acting as an expert in the specialist practice area

- Contributing as required to the generation of bids/proposals ensuring they reflect the capability of the practice(s)

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Translate customer requirements into deliverable products and services

- Use Oracle standard approaches to devise an outline solution

- Propose the most effective use of Oracle¿s implementation methodologies

- Represent Oracle professionally on client site

- Work on customer¿s premises for extended time anywhere within the EMEA region in senior roles in project delivery teams

- Identify and communicate opportunities for cross and up selling

- Proactively maintain knowledge of Oracle¿s current and future products/ solutions offerings

- Generate the relevant material, e.g. white papers, in order to develop and share knowledge

- Represent Oracle at internal and external events as required e.g. special interest groups

- Review invitations to tender and advise as required

- Maintain own CV and skills matrix

- Operate in line with Oracle EMEA consulting policies and procedures


CERINTE

Professional Competencies:

- Broad knowledge and experience at a reasonably high level of all Oracle eBusiness suite and technology areas
- 10+ years experience in major IT projects involving whole business process
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in a second European language a strong plus
