RESPONSABILITATI

Daily:

- analyzes and understands the customer's needs and provides technical and functional support so that the system should be used at its best;
- explains to the users the system's processes and the impact of their actions within an integrated system, providing them with a global vision of the system;
- guarantees the continuous user training and the maintenance of the user procedures together with North America (NA) coordinator;
- manages escalation issues with NA coordinator and vendor

Periodically:

- sets up the system in collaboration with NA coordinator so that it may be best applied by the users;
- performs quality, performance and security assurance and shares results with NA coordinator in charge of deciding the necessary measures;
- keeps the users informed and prepares them for all kinds of changes the system may undergo;
- identifies and initiates new practices that can lead to some organizational changes;
- proposes the best alternatives (set up changes, technical developments) considering new user requirements and new processes and shares proposals with NA coordinator;
- makes unitary and integration tests;
- supplies support along the projects and makes post-mortem analysis;
- shares with the other helpdesk analysts his experience and knowledge regarding the application and the users.


CERINTE

- degree in Cybernetics or similar education (library sciences, digital asset management, archiving, records/data management, or other related field;)
- PC skills :
- Windows, Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – good level;
- SQL / data bases – average level;
- XML editing knowledge would be a plus ;
- work experience of at least 2-3 years in IT support functions;
- work experience with digital asset management systems would be a plus;
- good oral and written skills in English and French.
- an understanding of standard desktop publishing and production technologies would be a plus;
- analytical and anticipatory thinking : knows how to analyze an internal customer's request and provides a suitable answer; anticipates the customer's needs;
- must be highly proficient in the organization of information;
- responsible, meticulous, persevering, autonomous;
- creative / innovative : suggests system improvements and offers alternative solutions to the different problems that may appear;
- shows organization skills and demonstrated abilities in project management and multi-tasking;
- good debating skills;
- good team player with communication skills;
