Short task description
Architecture definition on subsystem level
Design, Implementation/Coding and Unit/Module testing
Maintain existing product features, resolve issues and fix bugs
Documentation
Regular progress reporting
Education:
Technical study of Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar.
Requested technical competencies:
Minimum 2 years of practical experience with embedded design projects;
Strong knowledge of C language (C++ experience is considered a plus);
Basic Assembler know-how;
Practical experience with 8/16/32 bits microcontroller;
Experience with GNU toolchains: gcc, g++, gdb, hightec C166
Good knowledge of Unix /Linux environments (make scriptings);
Experience of full project lifecycle: design and documentation, development, unit testing, refactoring, deployment and maintenance.
Would be a plus:
Experience with developing safety critical or real-time embedded systems
Practical experience with the following Microcontrollers: C167/164, XE167, Tricore, ARM7, ATMega, PIC
Knowledge of other Compilers : Keil, ArmRealView, IAR
Knowledge of real-time Operating Systems: PxROS (experience), Sciopta & OSE Epsilon
Knowledge of In-circuit emulations
Knowledge of Event Driven Programming / Multithreaded APP`s
Debugger know-how: Vector (PLS)
DDTS/ClearQuest experience
Knowledge of Clear Case/Subversions or other SW configuration management solutions
DOORS experience
Personal competencies:

Languages:
Fluency in English
