The software engineer shall be involved in feature development and bug fixing activities for a proprietary embedded OAM platform for telecom devices, in one of the areas:
- CLI infrastructure
- Configuration Management & data modeling environment
- Event Collection System (logs, alarms, traps, etc)
- SNMP Infrastructure
- OAM Security
Key skills:
- Good Programming skills in C/C++ (experience with Unix environments is highly desired)
- Good knowledge of Unix OS and Bash scripting
- Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and object-oriented programming
- High level of written and spoken English
Bonus skills:
- XML based technologies
- Experience with ICEs, cross compilers, debuggers
- Experience with a version control system
- Some knowledge of network infrastructure
Non-Technical Skills:
- Problem solving, analytical skills, detail oriented and persevering
- Ability to follow procedures
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly
- Motivated to contribute and do what it takes to get things done
Depending on professional background and experience, a competitive compensation package is offered.
