RESPONSABILITATI

This position is responsible for administration of the Ipsos Interactive Services email delivery system. Working in this newly created role will require close collaboration with other members of the Global Email Delivery team to achieve excellence in all aspects of email deliverability.

Responsibilities:
- Email delivery server administration (50%)
- Maintain SMTP connection settings to optimize delivery rates
- Manage all aspects of email delivery server software operation
- Install software updates as necessary
- Analyze SMTP logs and identify delivery failures
- Identify and troubleshoot software and hardware problems
- Co-operate with other teams to maintain and optimize integration between the email delivery server and other business applications
- SMTP connectivity maintenance (25%)
- Research and document SMTP access policies of receiving domains
- Test and troubleshoot suspected SMTP connectivity problems
-Global Email Delivery team responsibilities (25%)
- Produce email deliverability reports
- Provide support to other teams and business units on email related issues
- Use reports and monitoring utilities to proactively identify problems
- Investigate suspected deliverability problems
- Engage anti-spam administrators in block resolution
- Attend team meetings and conference calls
- Assist with other email delivery initiatives as necessary


CERINTE

- This position requires at least 2 years of related experience with Windows Server administration.
- The candidate must also demonstrate experience with email delivery systems and familiarity with email deliverability concepts.
- Experience with PowerMTA or similar email delivery server software is a definite asset.

Technical skills:
- Strong aptitude for working with email systems in a Windows Server environment.
- Sound working knowledge of SMTP and related email protocols.
- Excellent grasp of networking protocols and DNS/domain issues.
- Strong level of skill with Telnet.
- Strong knowledge of SQL database.
- Strong level of skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of issues surrounding mass emailing is desired.
- Familiarity with email authentication (SPF / SenderID / DomainKeys / DKIIM) is a plus.

Communication skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the English language

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Strong organizational skills.
- Collaborative attitude in working with a diverse group of staff on multi-faceted projects.
