This engineer???s primary role will be to work in a team oriented environment to create, customize and maintain Process Design Kits (PDKs) for Silicon technologies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and interpreting integrated circuit process technologies in order to implement specifications for optimized Process Design Kits (PDKs)
- Development and maintenance of PDKs includes creation of techfiles, symbols, PCells, Callbacks, CDFs, netlisting tools
- Install, configure, customize outside foundry PDKs (TSMC/UMC/etc)
- Develop layout and schematic automation using SKILL language and maintain Hspice and Verilog netlisters
- Configure and maintain and its interfaces to other EDA tools (simulation, psychical verification, etc)
- Provide user support to worldwide design centers and technical contractors
- Provide user training and maintain web documentation
- The engineer must have a solid background in circuits, electronics and physics and should either have or be capable of learning new technical skills.
- Degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering. Programming experience is required.
- Understanding of electronic circuits fundamentals and state of the art CAD tools used in VLSI design and SKILL language.
- Experience with PDK development and PDK automation tools usage will be a plus (especially deep submicron technology as 90nm technology)
- English - ADVANCED
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
