We are looking to add a fantastic Electrical Engineer to our team who can:
- Collect, review, and discuss the requirements with the team to stabilize, improve and update them as the team progresses in the discussion
- Identify, integrate and implement the system architecture parts - in collaboration with the teams whenever necessary - including Electrical, Mechanical, Wireless, Communication and Software
- Design the system electrical processes, inputs, outputs, energy consumption with optimum performance
- Build a working prototype to use as a POC, a reference for manufacturing, and a software development kit for the software team to build upon
- Create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD system
- Plan and design the production processes, together with manufacturers and/or the team whenever necessary
- Source the components with the sourcing team to prepare for manufacturing
- Research and develop, together with the team - mainly software and design, the 'secret sauce' that makes our solution better, more versatile, cheaper and more powerful than the competitors
- Think outside the box to innovate whenever the innovation could improve the product and benefit the end-user
- Reflect on issues and technical barriers met to find a workaround with the motto "any problem has a solution"
- Provide constructive inputs to team discussions, weigh the pros, cons, analyze the difficulties objectively
- Use the best resources available to ease and speed up the development (of the system) whenever necessary/appropriate. Some examples of resources are (Alibaba.com - for sourcing components, grabcad.com - for Open Source CAD designs,www.electronics-lab.com for Open Source electronic board designs, or alike)
