The DW Developer will be responsible for the development of the data warehouse, starting from the existing distributed databases, applying tools for profiling, cleansing, ETL data in multi-tier technology and producing web enabled applications to provide end-user access to the DW resources.
He/she will be responsible to coordinate the entire team of developers to achieve the data transformation and the effective load of data in the DW. He/she will be responsible to develop and implement the decided mechanisms to ensure the controlled access by functionality and roles, to prepare and past the tests and to reach the requested performance. He/she will closely work with Web Designer and Data Warehouse Architect key experts.
The DW Developer will work at the Beneficiary premises in close cooperation with the Beneficiary team for that component, using the existing infrastructure, created with this purpose within the GDIT. He/she is responsible for skills and knowledge transfer to the Beneficiary team.
¿ University degree in IT or other relevant to the project fields;
¿ Professional training courses appropriate for the position in the project. Professional Certificates will be an advantage;
¿ Excellent command of English
General professional experience
¿ Above 5 years of experience in IT field;
¿ Experience in implementing web interfaces for the DW applications - participation in min one project during the last 3 years
Specific professional experience
¿ Experience in expertise and development of DW and access to DW applications - participation in min 2 similar projects;
¿ Experience in web enabled applications in large environments - Participation in minimum 2 similar projects (size and complexity).
