General:
- The DVCS Site Manager follows up all subcontractors' activities for the deployment of DVCS (Data/Voice Communication System) Sub-System.
- The jobholder reports directly to the DVCS Rollout Manager.
Responsabilities:
- Follow up tasks of subcontractors for the end of each phase and manage the acceptance of works
- Work with the Rollout Manager to define deployment requirements
- Build networking related technical documentation for different sites types, based on design documentation, configuration templates, IP addressing plan for different sites and CISCO equipment types
- Build the networking related configuration files for various CISCO devices based on technical documentation and other documents provided
- Support interface actions with other subprojects
- Maintain a close and trustful relationship with the Customer
- Ensure compliance of deployment activities to all quality management plans and standards
- Ensure in-time and in-budget completion of all deployment activities
Requirements:
Technical
- MW technology and network design principles
- Telecommunications sites
- Basic knowledge in:
- Networking protocols and standards (TCP/IP, E1) o TETRA / GSM / PABX system / VOIP
- Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Visio)
- Experience in complex networking and telecommunications solutions;
- Good knowledge of network devices ¿¿¿ CISCO (76XX, 72XX, 38XX, 28XX, 18XX, 37XX, 29XX, ASA5XXX, PIX5XX, IPS/IDS);
- Good knowledge of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP;
- Knowledge of MPLS technology: LDP, LSR, MPBGP, L3/L2 MPLS VPN
- Knowledge in Network Management Systems: CiscoWorks suite, HPOV;
- Good knowledge of Windows OS. - ssh/telnet/ftp clients;
Education
- University degree in Telecommunications or IT Engineering
- CCNA/CCDA
Others - Fluent in English;
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Familiar with Quality Management
Nice to have requirements:
- Previous experience in large telecom network deployments
- CCNP/CCDP/CCSP/CCIP
- Knowledge of Linux OS
