- Direct lead and accountability of the site - focus and align the site organization to meet site goals
- Drive improvements in productivity, operational effectiveness, customer service & safety
- Ensures products will be manufactured to meet customer requirements
- Drive improvements in process, technology and standardization including SOP’s
- Implement world-class operations practices, and drive internal processes to world class levels
- Technical coordination of projects and AFE preparation – accountable for implementation
- Establish quality systems to ensure product quality & delivery performance
- Ensure employee satisfaction and employee satisfaction improvement measures
- Coaching and training of his/her team – build leadership talent
- Build and execute a comprehensive TPM/Maintenance plan
- Perform effective benchmarking within and outside RME and implement best practices
- Maintain effective links to the customer, vendors and the overall organization, especially front end
- Develop and maintain community and local administration relationships
- Build cooperation and teamwork with other DC’s and supporting groups in the plants
- Ensure effective communication at all levels of the RME organization
- Develops a Safety Vision for the site – continuously improve safety performance
- Translate customer requirements - VOC - into SMART objectives for the site
- Executes the run-the-business functions of the site
- Develops a medium to long term strategy of investment in capital, people, and assets
- Process owner for AOP, S & OP and quarterly forecasts of the site
- Drive a CI culture based on world-class operations practices, and ELS roll out
- Meet or exceed all financial and operational goals
- Maintain an effective employee relations climate
- Ensure workforce is capable of meeting financial and operational objectives
- University degree in a technical discipline
- People management skills at least of +25 people
- Project management and technical experience
- Experience in vendor negotiations
- English language is a must, all other languages considered an advantage
- Six Sigma black belt certified, minimum Six Sigma Green Belt
- Manufacturing improvements strategies: i. e. Six Sigma, Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen
- Knowledge of Finishing, slitters and continuous web handling
- Understanding of financial management – key impact of IME & DL on P&L results
- Mobile- willingness to relocate to another location is essential
