RESPONSABILITATI

The Oracle Support & OnDemand Engineering Group develops leading-edge solutions and services to enable the Oracle Global Support Service & OnDemand businesses.
As Director Services Engineering you will be responsible for leading the full engineering life cycle. The Director of Services Engineering will lead a group of engineers with responsibility for delivering a wide range of engineered solution to support the Oracle Support & OnDemand business. You will also be responsible for driving management, development, quality and process improvements across Services Engineering globally.
You will be expected to push the envelope in terms leading the delivery of innovative technical solutions. This includes the ability to design and implement complex enterprise systems primarily involving Oracle technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate as a leader within the Services Engineering organization, developing the strategic direction and value proposition for a variety of initiatives
Consult with stakeholders to review project requirements, determine strategy & approach for accomplishing project objectives, skill and staffing requirements and allocation of resources
Provide regular status, project tracking updates and overall assessments to Management Team
Manage engineers to deliver project in accordance with scope & plan, including identifying issues and working them through closure
Work with Architecture and Product Management teams to improve project delivery
Provide leadership to the team
To be a champion for Service Engineering solutions within Oracle OnDemand & Oracle Support;
Willing and able to drive cross-team and global projects and initiatives;
Conduct formal employee evaluations and performance reviews
Contribute to the career development of each employee.


CERINTE

10+ years Management / Team Lead experience
Marketing, Engineering or equivalent degree;
A successful track-record delivering a project in a global environment with a preferred background in enterprise IT business
Hands-on problem solving skills, and outstanding oral and written communication skills
Capability to learn new processes and technologies quickly.
Proven Track Record.
The ability to influence at all levels with well-developed persuasive arguments.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-driven and self motivated.
Results orientated, an ability to manage multiple priorities is also expected.
Strong customer orientation.
Engineering or equivalent degree;
Ability to manage distributed staff (remote management).
Ability to interface successfully with Development organization to drive end game success.
An ability to work under pressure and meet deadline requirements complimenting a proactive and flexible approach with a resilient and results - orientated nature.
