RESPONSABILITATI

Create and drive our social media and public relations / communications strategy.
Manage company presence in social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other similar community sites.
Work with internal resources, including product management, product marketing, and business development, in developing press releases, blogs, articles, etc.
Produce unique content for blog posts and infographics that can be distributed to mainstream media and other social media influencers.
Develop a portfolio of tactics for growing and leveraging our social media follower base including using promotions, contests, polls, ads, surveys and referral programs. Drive the social media editorial calendar and posting schedule.
Become the voice of Avira as community manager in social media spaces by responding to customer comments, participating and posting on relevant blogs and forums and drive the growth and engagement of our fan base.
Navigates internally to get bugs or emerging user issues fixed fast.
Collaborates with the rest of Avira Online in order to optimize social media for SEO and leverage organic/paid promotional activities where appropriate.
Create and monitor benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs and campaigns and report on their effectiveness.
Identify and use social monitoring tools or other methods to monitor and participate in industry related online conversations across multiple channels. Identify and implement latest tools and applications for social management and measurement.
Manage and execute all fundamental elements of a PR program including writing, pitching, pursuing award opportunities, contributed articles, competitive monitoring and analysis, and pursing speaking engagements.
Respond to live information queries from media and the public.
Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve manage your media portfolio at maximum ROI.
Write press releases and media kits. Compile comprehensive information about the company for the media, including corporate image and logos.
Drive our monthly/ quarterly / annual budget planning process for Communications & Social Media.
Work in close relationship with web-designers and copywriters to provide concepts and flows for Media campaigns as well as the Avira website.
You explain complex content using comprehensible, imaginative techniques, and communicate our corporate strategy in a personable, convincing manner.
Toward the market: you ignite users interest in Avira, and encourage them to interact more with our free services and purchase our products.


CERINTE

At least 3-4 years of Public Relations / communications and Social Media Experience in a large consumer business.
Track record in successfully managing Social Media and Public Relations / communications programs for a company.
Demonstrated ability to build active user communities across multiple social media platforms and through traditional media.
Exceptional writing skills (press releases, corporate announcements, memos).
Experience with social plugins such as registration, comments, share, activity feeds, and apps.
Experience with running blogs and media outreach programs.
Knowledge of SEO and the impact of social media content and PR / Communications on company success.
Web analytics technology such as Omniture Search, SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, etc.
BI knowledge also helpful (e.g., Excel, Cognos, Tableau).
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and cross-functional skills. Team player.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and performance under deadline-pressure.
Self-directed with a passion to continually improve your own performance and that of others around you.
You see things from the customer's point of view, communicating technical information in a way that customers immediately grok.
You have exceptional style and can handle the full spectrum of media in which your cocepts are used.
You are entrepreneurial, self-driven & have creative talent.
Solid understanding of adjacent functions-- e.g., copywriting, UX, web development, owned channels.
