The Director Purchasing & Category Management is responsible for managing and developing the entire product range in the respective country, defining the target product range and prices, source the relevant products from national and international suppliers, and develop
proper merchandising solutions to display the assortment in the stores.
He will work closely with the Director Finance and Administration and the Sales Director.
You are looking for the opportunity to be part of the management team of a developing International Retail Chain.
You would have an attractive package and professional opportunity as a Director of Purchasing & Category Management in management team of the German leader in “Do It Yourself “market, which is expanding it’s operations on the Romanian market.
University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
Several years of retail Purchasing & Category Management experience in a leading function (at least on a category leader level).
DIY experience preferred.
Profound knowledge of retail merchandising and logistics required.
