OBJECTIVE:
The Director, EMEA Contracts will provide operational direction, process and automation efficiency and strategic leadership in the drafting and processing of License and Consulting Contracts as well as License Upgrade and Technical Migrations , while contributing to the overall direction and value proposition of the world wide Contracts organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership, inspiration and direction to a diverse, multi-lingual team
- Drive operational performance & efficiencies across all Contract functions & activities
- Develop and sustain Partnering relationships with Local Sales and Finance
- Lead process & productivity improvements in coordination with Global Process Owner
- Drive and execute organizational initiatives consistent with company objectives
- Maintain key control and compliance environment
- Identify and lead training and staff development initiatives
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Contracts subject matter expertise including best practices, systems, metrics and reporting
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships across all levels of teams
- Capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity and providing creative solutions
- Influencing, persuasion and people management skills
- Demonstrated capacity for results achievement and maintaining cost efficiencies
- Proven strategic thinker and strategic leader
- Excellent English speaking written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Some travel may be required
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years of Contracts and risk management experience on a Pan-EMEA basis, preferably in a similar industry with a strong emphasis on business and leadership skills
At least 3 years experience working at Senior management level
Degree in Business/Finance or equivalent professional qualification
Multi-lingual skills an advantage
