You will be responsible for design of digital modules and/or top level design for security micro-controllers.
Direct responsibilities include micro-architecture specification, VHDL implementation, simulation (RTL and gate-level), and post-silicon bring-up/debugging.
Furthermore you will be involved in synthesis and timing analysis of these circuits.
•Qualification required:
- BSEE degree with a minimum of 3 years in digital design
•Experience required:
- Experience in semi-custom digital design and simulation tools (Modelsim preferred)
- Micro architecture specification and implementation in VHDL/Verilog of complex digital modules
- Ability to debug digital circuits on RTL, gate-level, as well as on silicon.
- Ability to define, create, maintain and debug tests for silicon verification / qualification (either for modules or for entire system)
- Capability to analyze system issues on silicon, support for test engineering.
- The following skills are an advantage:
- Exposure to verification tools (Specman) and/or verification principles is a plus
- FPGA-design flow, fast prototyping
- Experience in synthesis, clocktree synthesis, STA, place & route
- Implementation of design for testability measures
- Modelling of hardmacros for design synthesis/emulation tools
