The SharePoint Developer develops new and enhances features in Microsoft SharePoint Sever 2007 (MOSS). This includes configuring MOSS to use existing features as possible and then writing code to add the missing functionalities that are required. MOSS applications will be used by UK based customers. Writing MOSS applications requires good knowledge on MOSS product it self and good experience in ASP .NET 2.0, XML and XSL technologies.
Employees on this position will start with an intense training period and then will be deployed in London for the first 6 months. They will work on customer site. All the accommodation is covered by the company. Then, it will be an option for the employee to continue working in UK or come back and work from the local office.
We are aware of the fact that is no large experience with SharePoint in Romania. From this perspective good knowledge for this product is not required, but it is a big advantage.
Required Experience:
- More than 2 yrs working as a software developer or senior software developer
- Experience in development of web-based applications
- Developing reach web UI interfaces with DHTML and JavaScript it is a big advantage
Required Skills:
- Knowledge Microsoft T-SQL, .NET, ASP .NET 2.0
- Exposure to standard software development processes such as RUP, Waterfall, or MSF is and advantage
- Usage of SharePoint technologies is an advantage
- Spoken and written English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to communicate with team leads and other team members
- Team player
- Self-motivated, hard and driven worker, urge to be successful
