Server Technologies Porting Software Engineering team is responsible for providing clean, reproducible and frequent builds of Oracle Database and iAS products on strategic platforms. This means delivering the Oracle software to internal teams for testing while also automating and developing the processes, which we work to. Currently responsibilities are shared across Ireland, Bangalore and San Francisco. We need help to ensure we can deliver our builds efficiently with the right tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Contributing to the assurance of personal and team deadlines being reached
* Managing complex projects that span multiple organizations
* Initiates and drives improvement and changes.
* Motivates and empowers team members to drive change and improvement
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 6+ years experience, B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Computer Science or Engineering and at least 2 years in managing a team of 3+ engineers
* Excellent experience in Java, C and perl programming
* Excellent software Debugging, diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills
* Understanding of Compilers and Unix
* Understanding of XML is a plus
* Exposure to Oracle and Database Technology is a plus
