· Leading and directing site based design team
· Provide design co-ordination support to the Project Managers in Design & Construction phases.
· Monitoring progress and programming design functions on site
· Chairing and leading Design Team Meetings and Workshops
· Controlling the receipt and distribution of authorized Construction documents
· Drive value engineering process in design.
· A minimum of 5 years construction experience on commercial and retail buildings.
· Fluency in English.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills
· Team Player.
· Experience of managing design of high value projects, either with Designer or Contractor.
· A good knowledge of H&S and Quality issues.
· A third level qualification in a construction related field.
· Computer literacy. AutoCad an advantage.· Ability to think laterally.
· Architectural design experience would be advantageous
